“I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress & my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield & the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, & I have been saved from my enemies.” ~ Ps 18:1-3
Notice the ownership David has over his relationship & trust in God. We need to have confidence in OUR God. Claim God’s words & promises over YOUR life. Trust Him & put YOUR life in His hands.
Praise Him at ALL times! Through the good & the bad. He is worthy in ALL situations!

“The earth is the Lord’s, & everything in it, the world, & all who live in it;” ~ Psalms 24:1
God is in control of every person, creature, storm, & situation on this earth right now & forever. He has us in His hands.
Opening:
Growing up I played Mario Kart pretty competitively against my family members, but I never saw it as more than an ordinary game. The other day as I was driving to work Jesus spoke something to me. He showed me the resemblance of this simple game to our life on earth as Christians. I took out my phone & spoke all these words onto a recording which turned out to be two minutes long. Later during the week in quiet/prayer time I put the words to paper. God took those two minutes & overflowed them into this bible study. 3…2…1…GO!

“Do not say, “Why is it that the former days were better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this.” ~ Eccl 7:10

Opening:
When you think of the words ‘idol’ & ‘idolatry’ what do you think of?

“To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, in You I trust, do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies exult over me… Make me know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth & teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day. Remember, O Lord, Your compassion & Your lovingkindness. Do not remember the sins of my youth or transgressions; according to Your lovingkindness remember me” ~ Ps 25:1-7

The Bible mentions lions many times. One of the references it uses them as is our enemy, the devil or the wicked. Us Christians are referenced as sheep. The Lord is our Shepherd. He protects us from lions that want to harm us.
