Growing up I played Mario Kart pretty competitively against my family members, but I never saw it as more than an ordinary game. The other day as I was driving to work Jesus spoke something to me. He showed me the resemblance of this simple game to our life on earth as Christians. I took out my phone & spoke all these words onto a recording which turned out to be two minutes long. Later during the week in quiet/prayer time I put the words to paper. God took those two minutes & overflowed them into this bible study. 3…2…1…GO!

When you think of the words ‘idol’ & ‘idolatry’ what do you think of?

“Do not look on the wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly; at the last it bites like a serpent & stings like a viper.” ~ Prov 23:31

Matt 6:25 (Jesus spoke) “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, & the body more than clothing?”

“The Lord will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.” ~ 2 Sam 5:24

Bring blessed relief with confession of sin.

Prov 18:24 “A man of too many friends comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Phil 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
1.As Christians we have the ability to do ANY & ALL things.
2.As long as those things are favorable to God.

The Bible mentions lions many times. One of the references it uses them as is our enemy, the devil or the wicked. Us Christians are referenced as sheep. The Lord is our Shepherd. He protects us from lions that want to harm us.
