Discussion
People that are of this world will boast & take pride in many different things,
But us Christians boast in our God!
Things of this world will fall away but God is for eternity.
1 John 2:15 says,
“Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,”

Boast =
- Talk with excessive pride & self-satisfaction about one’s abilities, achievements, or possessions.
God’s abilities are endless. He can do all things & through Him we can do all things.
We are all possessions of God.
He deeply loves & cares for His possessions & He protects what is His.
He takes care of what is His. He fulfills every need for what is His.
He created each of us for a specific plan & purpose.
In Philippians 1:6 it says, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who started a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Not a single thing can get in the way of God’s plan for His children.
He is in control.
