  1. Psalm 18:16

“He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.”

Discussion

  1. The ownership in this verse deserves all the attention.

We need to claim God’s words & promises. He is MY God! I put my life in His hands & trust Him to be my shield, source of strength, deliverer, rock, fortress, & savior!

He is worthy of ALL our praise in ALL situations!

Even in the middle of our worst storms when it feels like there isn’t a way out & can’t see what He is doing, He is still fighting for us! He is still working! His plan is still in action!

  1. He took me. When we are going through deep waters He is there with us. Even when we feel like we are drowning & barely staying above the waters, the reason we haven’t gone completely under yet is because He is keeping us afloat & in His perfect timing He will draw us out of the waters to fulfill His perfect plans.
  2. Broad Place =
  • A place of freedom where we are no longer unconfined from the dangers, anxiety, & fears that once limited us.

In Acts 13:22 God says that David was a man after His own heart & that he would do anything God wanted him to do. Because of these things God delighted in David. God rescues His children that He delights in. God saves people who search for His own heart, who give their lives to Him, who seek His will for their lives, & who obey His commandments.
