Day One:

Short Passage

Psalm 3:3-5

“But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, & the One who lifts my head. I was crying to the Lord with my voice, & He answered me from His holy mountain. I lay down & slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me.”

Psalm 3:8

“Salvation belongs to the Lord; Your blessing be upon your people!”

Discussion

The Lord hears our prayers. If we pray confidently & cry out to our God, He will be with us. We can lay down at night & sleep peacefully knowing God is in control. Make it personal to YOU. Trust that God is YOUR protector & YOUR comforter!

Salvation =

  1. Deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss.
  2. Deliverance from sin & its consequences, brought about by faith in Christ.

God is YOUR deliverer!

He will do all these things for YOU & more if you are His.

Prayer

“Dear Lord, we come to You today to thank you for everything You have done for us, that You are doing right now, & that you will do in the future. We thank you for protecting us & being our comforter. We realize we are not deserving of the unending love You so graciously give us. We are thankful that You are hearing this prayer. We have confidence that You will be with us in every situation or storm we may face. Forgive us for our sins & lead us & guide us in Your way. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.”
