11 Simple Steps to Success with Jesus
Joshua 1:5-9 “No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be stronger & courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong & very courageous; be careful to do according to ALL the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day & night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, & then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong & courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you where you go.”
1. Trust in God.
Trust that He is with you & protecting you in every step, trial, day, & situation.
2. Have confidence.
Know that when God is with you, you will never fail. Even times of trials & sorrows are times of success because they are apart of Gods perfect plan for you.
3. Be strong.
If we ask, God will give us the strength we need to face any & all battles.
4. Be courageous.
Have courage knowing that with God you will succeed, that you will not fail!
5. Obey the words of the Bible.
Apply ALL the commandments & laws of the Bible to your personal life every single day & allow them & God to transform your mind, heart, & soul.
6. Do not disobey.
Be very careful not to forget the commandments & laws of the Bible & not to disobey God.
7. Keep the words & laws of the Bible on your tongue at all times.
For if you are speaking what is true & pure you will not be speaking lies or filth.
8. Meditate on the word continuously.
For the same reason above, if you keep your mind on the good word there will be no time to get distracted by sins.
9. Obey all laws of the Bible.
Be careful to obey ALL that is written in the Bible, not only the things that are easy for you or that you feel like doing.
10. Do not be afraid or fear.
Fear only God, nothing else. Not the enemy, the world, or the people on this earth, only God alone. He is in control of all things. He is protector of all His children.
11. Trust God.
With your whole life. Every step, every word, every action. Be a faithful servant to every order He gives you.
By doing these things you can walk confidently knowing you will have success where ever you go, where ever God sends you, & that you will prosper in the plans God has for you.

“Dear Lord, please allow us to grow closer to you, for Your will to be done in our lives. Fill us with strength & courage. Let us continue to meditate on your words. Let us learn what is pleasing to you & obey your laws. Let us put our trust in you & not be afraid. I pray you keep Your hand over us & our different paths & let us be successful in everything we do.
