Strength

Phil 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

1.As Christians we have the ability to do ANY & ALL things.

2.As long as those things are favorable to God.

3.No thing is too big or difficult for God to overcome.

4.With Him on our side we don’t have to wonder, worry, or second guess ourselves.

Trusting –

Ps 28:7 – “The Lord is my strength & my shield; my heart trusts in Him, & I am helped; therefore my heart exults, & with my song I shall thank Him.”

1.Trust that the Lord will give you the strength you need.

2.Trust that He will protect you & take care of you.

3.Ask for strength & help when you are weak & trust in your Holy Father.

4.You will be taken care of.

Is 40:31 – “Those who wait for (trust in) the Lord will gain new strength.”

1.Be patient.

2.Trust that God knows what He is doing.

3.Trust His timing & plan.

In Times Of Trouble –

Ps 37:39 – “But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble.”

Ps 46:1 – “God is our refuge & strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Is 40:29 – “He gives strength to the weary, & to him who lacks might He increases power.”

Use It –

1 Peter 4:10-11 – “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God.; whoever is serving is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplied; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ”

1.Do not let the strength God gives us go to waste.

2.Use it.

1 Tim 1:12 – “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service.”

1.God will never give us tasks that we can’t handle.

2.He puts each of us into particular areas of work & gives us each the strength we need to accomplish that work.

3.We should be honored & thankful that the Almighty God Himself saw us fit to handle the tasks He delegated to us.

4.We should never take our strength or work for the Lord for granted.

Give Praise & Thanks –

Ex 15:2 – “The Lord is my strength & song, & He has become my salvation; & I will praise Him”

Prayer’s For Strength –

•“Dear Lord, Please give me the strength I need to do all the things you have & will ask of me. Give me the strength I need to overcome any troubles that may come my way. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom & understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord & please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance & patience, & giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light.” ~ Col 1:9-12
